My First Blog Post

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.

My first blog post.

Finally, I have gathered enough courage to write my own blog. Well, I admit I am kind of scared, nervous yet excited to do more and more for my blog to grow into something bigger and extra ordinary. You must be thinking right now “Ugghh, another blog by a bibliophile……!”. Yeah, I agree there are so many out there, I may not have so many talents, but I love to write as much as I love to read.

Who am I?

You must be thinking who is this stranger behind the keyboard telling me that she loves to read? So here is who I am.

I am Khazeena (yup that is my real name, not impressed by any character of mine or my parents’ favorite drama or movie ha-ha), Khazeena Mukhtar from Chakwal, Pakistan. Since childhood, I loved reading, I also loved to have books all stacked up beside my bed and by the way I was not at all a boring introverted typical nerd child.

My bond with books got much stronger when I started studying for my Masters in English literature and linguistics. When I started teaching, my relation with books just became unbreakable.

I am not going to tell you my whole life story (just to be clear in case you are getting bored). I started writing some three years ago. Although not much, as I was kind of shy maybe. I just always found excuses not to write although I loved to. But could not find enough courage.

I created this blog because I always wanted to. My father always says, “Do what you love and love what you do”. I felt like I was always thinking about blogging, found myself talking about famous blogs. So why not create my own?

What this blog is about?

You must have got an idea by now what this blog is about. This blog is an “education blog” and I am sure it will help you in some or other way. I don’t want to specify if my future posts are going to be about the books I have read, or I want to read, the books I have, or I want to have, book reviews, or “how-to” types of post to prepare for English exams. But I promise you won’t get bored while scrolling through by blog as secret diary is going to be "Not-so-secret" diary.

As it is kind of a diary, so it may include so many things. As your thoughts change day by day, your diary changes too.
