One-word substitution
So, whether we are writing for
academic purpose or not, we always need to have a powerful vocabulary. One-word substitution means, while writing, without
writing a full long phrase, you can use one substitute word for it.
For example, instead of saying,
there are many people in the town out to destroy and disobey the government’s
orders.
You can also write, there are many anarchists
in the town. So, the word anarchist is a substitute for the above-mentioned
underlined sentence.
I have collected a list of these
one-word substitutions. Hope it will help all of you.
